I ONLY BOUGHT YOU FLOWERS
Folks - don't tell me about green miles or low-wages or any of those things. (Though they matter. I know they matter.) Set your morals and politics aside for a moment and enjoy this.
Oh thank you, I needed that, we just lost a football match and I was feeling cross and fed-up. That made me smile again - as Flighty said, utterly delightful.
Who were you supporting, Janet? Sorry your team lost. (I'm assuming you weren't playing but maybe that's wrong?)Glad this link made you smile.
On football and songs. Only yesterday did I come across the Hibs fans singing 'Sunshine On Leith'. I found that moving too. Probably everyone except me has known it for ages - but in case not . . .
Hi Esther, no, not playing! Am died-in-the-wool Liverpool fan, though I am rubbish at watching us play, I get so tense I hide behind a cushion and distract myself with lists of plants etc. I get so tense!! Am off to check out Hibs song, but it won't beat the spine-tingling nature of "You'll Never Walk Alone" sung, full throttle, very badly, at the Cop end at Anfield. Not that I'm biased or anything!!
PS The bay tree I am growing from your baycorn is throwing out its first little branches - I'm so proud!
Janet - 'You'll Never Walk Alone' - that can be quite overwhelming, emotionally. The Hibs clip - I wish one could hear more of the singing. But one of the things that struck me was how in tune they were, how well they sung, how they didn't roar.

I hope that you don't mine but I'm going to borrow it and post it everywhere.
Flighty xx
Yes - it's delightful. Spread the word!
I make no claims to it - after all, I didn't sing a note.
Esther
:-)
Brought a smile to my face!

Hi, Pearl. I'm glad it made you smile too.

Oh my, this was so very sweet. It made me feel so happy, and that makes it a fine gift from you to me and everyone who sees it here. Thank you!
