I've avoided Google+.
I don't want to be drawn in to spending more time on the internet than I do already. Those of you who have joined . . . how many hours has it added to however many you were already spending in front of your screen? Do you like to be that much in touch with people?
I don't like the Google+ page which comes up when I click through from some people's links. I get lost when I try to go from it to their blogs. Even without belonging, Google+ things turn up in my inbox and I wonder if belonging means you get flooded with emails and articles.
I suspect we will all be forced to join in the end. Should I put it off as long as possible or test the water now?
I'm hoping you'll say 'You don't need it. Put it off.'. And even if you say 'it's brilliant', I may yet turn the other way. But given that I may not follow any advice you give . . . what is it?
(And once you've joined, can you un-join? Is there any going back?)
