WEDNESDAY WORD

Porcine

Isn't it a wonderful word?

This is the first time I've ever written it down.

I've never needed it before.

I've never said it either.

I don't even know how I know it.

But isn't it a wonderful word?

Porcine

I start sayiong it in an Al Pacino voice... PORCINE..

This word always reminds me of Paddy Pork. I always thought he might live in Bath, and thought of him when I was there today, so your choice is most apt. For me at least. Or should that be Paddy?

Nice word. May I offer another rarely used word that I'm sure you'll enjoy (sorry if you already know it).

ANOSMIA or ANOSMIC: The inability to smell; having no sense of smell.

It's one of those words I know but couldn't possibly speak. Like LICHEN.

Is it por-sine or por-seen or por-kine or por-keen? Actually it's the first, says my dictionary. But pork-ine would be better, keeping its connection with porkers...

May I also contribute BOVINE and OVINE...

Keep up the good work/word...
